We expanded our services and customer base slowly, ensuring we could provide the highest quality service in the industry. We opened an office in Cincinnati, OH in 1995 and expanded that service area to Lexington, KY in 1999. In 2000, we opened offices in Richmond, VA and Norfolk, VA. We offer full service airfreight pickup and delivery service in each of these cities. We opened a sales and service office in Chicago in 2002. In 2004 we opened an office in Columbus, OH. We currently offer a scheduled, LTL line haul service between Chicago, Cincinnati, Lexington, Dayton and Columbus.

We have a fleet of a little over 100 vehicles. (cargo vans, straight trucks and tractor trailers) We dual utilize our equipment for both local PUD and expedites. We have of offices in DAY, CVG, ORD, RIC and ORF. The majority of our expedite drivers are domiciled out of Southwest Ohio but we have equipment available in various parts of the country on any given day. We take time and care to monitor each and every shipment to ensure we exceed our customer’s needs.

The Expediting Co. has entered into a Strategic Alliance with a select group of quality Expedite Carriers throughout North America. This Strategic Alliance (known as the “Expedite Alliance”) allows each Expedite Carrier to focus their activities in the geographic or “core” business areas where their fleet normally performs. Using a common online (Internet based) tool, each carrier in the “Alliance” has visibility AND ACCESS to available Expedite equipment of the other “Alliance” members. As a result, our ability to service your “Time Critical” shipment has vastly improved for the following reasons:

1. One Call – We can become your “one call” carrier for all your Time Critical shipment needs. If we do not have a vehicle near your pick up location, we can easily find if one of our Alliance Partners has a vehicle nearby.
2. Commitment to Quality – You chose The Expediting Co. as your Expedite Carrier of choice because of our strong commitment to doing the job right. If your Time Critical shipment is dispatched on an Alliance Members vehicle, we still take full responsibility for managing the success of the trip. And we know our Expedite Alliance partners share our commitment to quality.
3. Diversity of Coverage – The Expedite Alliance boasts a large geographic North American coverage and includes both GROUND and AIR carriers. It continues to grow as qualified carriers are added in new geographic areas. This gives The Expediting Co. access to a wider range of services to help you satisfy your Time Critical shipments.
4. Pro-Active Communication – Since we have “visibility” to the other Alliance member vehicles, we can track the status of shipments placed on their vehicles just as if they were on our vehicles. This means we can pro-actively inform you of shipment issues, regardless of the name on the door of vehicle.
5. Full Visibility – You, as our customer, can see the status of ANY of your time critical shipments The Expediting Co. does for you via our online Track and Trace software - regardless of which carrier is handling the shipment and regardless of whether it is GROUND or AIR.
